This recipe was really very much like an original pasta dish from Italy.  Not all pasta dishes have a sauce and this is one.   I loved the combination of ingredients, they go together so well. Turkey & Spinach Salisbury Steak

These lovely Salisbury steaks were so colorful and made with ground turkey instead of beef and then they were simmered in a creamy sauce made of fresh mushrooms and light mushroom soup.  Ted and I really enjoyed them a lot and Ted wanted more of the sauce to have on some fried chicken.   LOL   He loves some fried chicken!  Continue reading “Turkey & Spinach Salisbury Steak”

Lighter Spaghetti and Meatballs

This recipe for lighter spaghetti with meatballs was delicious.  We both enjoyed it and the fact it was healthier was a bonus.  I used gluten free pasta, but I love the Kroger brand its great!  Ted and both enjoyed this meal and wished we could have but we did not enjoy a good garlic bread with the meal. Polenta Turkey Bake

This recipe for polenta turkey bake is a combination of ground turkey, garlic, onion, golden mushroom soup and Italian seasoning is sautéed and spooned into a baking dish. It’s topped with prepared polenta slices and baked to perfection for a hearty, delicious meal that’s an absolute winner!  Ted and I are fans of polenta and enjoyed this recipe very much!
