Easy Caprese Crescents with Balsamic Dipping Sauce


These were very tasty and easy to make.  I used fresh basil which makes things taste extra YUMMY!    This was a great snack and or appetizer.


1 tomato ( large, sliced then cut in half )
8 ounces crescent roll dough ( refrigerated )
8 mozzarella cheese, low fat ( slices )
8 basil ( leaves )

Unroll the crescent dough
Lay the cheese on the dough
Cover with thin slices of tomato
Top with lots of fresh basil
Bake as per dough instructions for about 10-13 minutes until golden brown and cheese is good and melted!   So tasty, ENJOY!
