Salisbury Steak Cordon Bleu

Tonight was a real treat, as Ted and I are beef lovers and this recipe was off the chart GOOD! It took only about 30 minutes to prepare this really delicious recipe.   The flavors actually tasted so much better to me than traditional recipes for Salisbury steak.   We enjoyed it with a small serving of mashed potatoes and salad.   Very nice meal! Dry Rub Pork Loin Roast

This recipe is actually what I had made last night for dinner.  I just did not have a chance to post it last night.   This roast was amazing, the whole house smelled good and it was only 170 calories for 6 ounces.   Ted and I enjoyed this a lot and will try it again and maybe the rub mixture on some other kinds of meat as well.    Give this a try if you love lean cuts of pork, its delicious! New Orleans Style BBQ Shrimp

What a delicious meal!   These shrimp were so tasty and actually something like we have never tried before. I served them with asparagus sautéed with smoked julienne cut dried tomatoes and a small baked potato.  It was very easy and took about 20  minutes to make from start to finish.  I am certain that this will be requested by the better half, again soon! Cottage Pie with Sweet Potato Topping

This recipe although called cottage pie with sweet potato topping, it was a perfect match in my taste buds, as Sheppard’s pie.  Just a lot less calories.  This recipe makes 6 very hardy servings at 306 calories each serving.  Ted and I both agreed this qualified for comfort food and or fall food!
