This Mandarin Orange Cake made the whole house smell wonderful while it was baking. The whole time it was baking, it was taunting my husband! The wait was worth it because it was so moist and tasty. Had a serving with some of our new autumn coffee and it really hit the spot!
1 Box yellow cake mix
1 15 ounce can of Mandarin oranges in lite syrup
2 ounces of diet Sunkist orange soda
Mix all three ingredients well and pour into a prepared 9×13 cake pan.
Bake for about 25 minutes.
If you want you can serve as is or I used one box of sugar free fat free vanilla pudding mix with one cup of low fat milk blended until thick, add in one tub of lite cool whip for my topping.
One 12th of the cake is approximately 160 calories.
