Tuna Patties with Sour Cream and Chive


Tonight I made a new version of tuna patties or some call them tuna cakes.  This was very tasty and so easy to make. I had dinner made in about 20 minutes.   Low calorie and tasty, right up my alley!


4 cans light tuna in water (drained)

1/2 cup onion diced very small

2 tsp Old Bay Spice

1/2 Tlbs. minced garlic

2 tsp  Steak Sauce, I used A-1 but we have used Heinz 57

2 Eggs or equivalent in liquid eggs  lower in calories)

1/2 cup bread crumbs, I used gluten free.

1Tlbs Olive oil



Heat the olive oil in skillet.

Mix all the ingredients together you may need to adjust wet ingredients or dry somewhat to make a nice patty that won’t fall apart.  Divide the mixture into four equal parts and make each into a patty and cook until golden brown on each side.   Add a dollop of sour cream. I used light to save calories and chives.  You can be creative with toppings, just watch out as this can accumulate calories fast.
